The Sailing Instructions have now been posted on the website.

Entry for both fleets now includes the late entry surcharge. Entry for both fleets is near the capacity limits.

An updated NOR has been posted (V2), the changes are to the registration, briefing and race start times.

Competitors who are under 18 at the start of the event are required to complete a Parent/Guardian Declaration before taking part in the event.

Programme for Optimist Open Meeting at HISC - 11 July 2008

Saturday 11 July - Registration at HISC Event Office from 09:00 hrs.

Saturday 11 July - Competitors Briefing at 11:00 hrs.

Saturday 11 July - Main fleet maximum 3 Races - Regatta fleet maximum 4 races - 1st warning signal 12:55 hrs.

Note that there will be a regatta tea for all competitors after the racing (included in the entry fee).

Support Boats - Support boats must register at the Race Office during the registration period, before launching, and may only be launched from the South East slipway at the Club.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 – 10:00, Lunch 12:30 – 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00hrs

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 23:00 Saturday/Sunday.

Accommodation is available at HISC. A list of further local accommodation can be requested from the Club Office.

Boat Parking

Trailer storage will be in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail number.

Mobile homes/camper vans

Mobile homes/camper vans may not be used for sleeping in overnight on the HISC premises, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway. This is a requirement of planning legislation and is outside the control of the club.
The local authority actively monitors the club’s compliance with these regulations. Please help by abiding with this rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of its neighbours.
