Camper Van Guidelines
Thank you for booking a Camper Van space, we hope your stay is a pleasant one.
I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the HISC Camper Van Guidelines.
For the benefit of all our member & guests may I request you take a moment to read the following:
Please park your Camper Van in the space allocated to you upon signing in.
Please drive carefully and slowly in the Club grounds. The speed limit on Club premises is 10mph.
A one way system is in place at the entrance and this must be followed. No vehicles are allowed beyond the gates to the dinghy park.
Please dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided on site (located opposite the flagpole) and keep your pitch neat & tidy, with no loose equipment left outside the camper van. On departure, please leave your pitch clean as it was on arrival.
Please note that we DO NOT provide electric hook up or chemical toilet waste disposal facilities.
Please do not allow waste water to foul the ground, please ensure that a suitable receptacle is connected to the waste pipe to collect the waste.
The office is open from 09:00 - 17:00 hrs Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 hrs Saturday & Sunday
In an emergency please contact any member of staff who can be found.
Camper Van spaces are non-refundable.
Please observe the Country Code relating to water cleanliness, fire dangers, litter, trees, plants & wildlife. We are privileged to be located in an area of exceptional beauty, please help us to keep it this way.
With the exception of guide dogs, animals may not be brought into the Club building, accommodation blocks or onto the balcony. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at ALL times and not left unattended or tied up anywhere on site (this includes the beach). Owners must clean up after their animals.
Please have consideration for others when you are returning to your Camper Van late at night. Anyone making excessive noise will be evicted from HISC and will need to make alternative arrangements. Please keep radios & music systems at a low volume and not between 23:00 - 07:00 hrs.
Check in at the main reception between 12:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs. After this time please collect your registration card from the bar. If you are arriving very late please notify us before 1700hrs and we will supply you with the details of your space allocation & barrier code. If you have collected registration details from the bar or are a late arrival, please check in at Reception the following morning.
Camper Van spaces which have not been vacated by 12:00 hrs on day of departure will incur a charge equal to one night’s stay. If you are not intending to leave the club by midday, you will be asked to park elsewhere at the Club on your departure day.
All buildings on the HISC site are strictly NO SMOKING.
The fire alarm system is very sensitive. If you smoke in any of the buildings, the fire alarm will activate and the fire brigade will automatically be called out. The alarm system also indicates which sensor in which room was activated.
If the fire alarm goes off please leave the building immediately and go to the muster point which is the flagpole. Do not return to the buildings until the Fire Marshall has instructed you to do so.
