Accommodation House Rules

Thank you for booking into our accommodation and we hope your stay is a pleasant one. I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to HISC Accommodation House Rules.

For the benefit of all our guests may I request you take a moment to read the following:

 

All accommodation areas & club buildings are strictly NO SMOKING.

The fire alarm system is very sensitive. If you smoke in the accommodation areas, the fire alarm will activate and the fire brigade will automatically be called out. The alarm system also indicates which sensor in which room was activated.

If the fire alarm goes off please leave the accommodation immediately and go to the assembly point which is the flagpole. Do not return to the accommodation until the Fire Marshall has instructed you to do so.

In an emergency please contact the Duty Manager. Details will be provided on arrival.

First Aid is available at Reception or in the Bar.

Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The speed limit for all vehicles on club premises is 10 mph

All bedding is provided, but you are required to bring your own towels.

The ladders in Dunes accommodation leading up to the mezzanine deck are as per the companion way on a yacht, therefore please ensure that you ascend frontwards and descend backwards.

Cancellation Policy: We will refund you in full if you cancel your booking prior to 7 days of your arrival date. Cancellations within 7 days of your arrival date are non-refundable.

No food is to be cooked or consumed in the accommodation, picnic meals are not to be taken into or consumed in the public rooms of the club.

Guests are not allowed to bring their own alcohol onto club premises. Drinks can be purchased by guests during permitted hours in the bars. All glasses should be returned to the bar. Staff are authorised to use their discretion in refusing to supply alcoholic beverages to anyone should they feel there is good reason. Persons under the age of 18 may not order or be supplied with intoxicating liquor and are not to enter the Lounge Bar/Over 18s Bar at any time.

No pets are allowed in the accommodation with the exception of guide dogs.

Animals may not be brought into the Club building, accommodation blocks or onto the balcony. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at ALL times and not left unattended (this includes in vehicles, short term or overnight) or tied up anywhere on site or the beach. Owners MUST clean up after their animals.

Wet or sandy sailing clothing is not allowed in the clubhouse rooms on the upper floors.

Please have consideration for others when you are returning to your accommodation late at night. Anyone making excessive noise will be evicted from the accommodation and will need to make alternative arrangements.

Accommodation keys are available from the main reception between 14:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs. After this time keys will be available from the bar. If you are arriving very late please notify us and we will ensure your key is left in your door. And provide blocker pass code.

Accommodation which has not been vacated by 10:00 hrs on day of departure will incur a charge equal to one day’s accommodation.  Any items left in the rooms after 1000hrs on the day of departure will be removed and held in lost property for one week. After this time they will be disposed of.

Keys lost or not returned will be charged at £25.00 per key. 

Checking in time:                  14:00 hrs on day of arrival

Checking out time:                10:00 hrs on day of departure – leave key with reception
