FED WEEK Report - Wednesday
Strong winds during the night, resulting in one competitor's RS300 being blown across the harbour and washed up on Thorney Island, and Wednesday's winds increasing to gusts in excess of 35 knots, gave the Federation Regatta Race Officers little choice but to cancel racing for the day.
Series 1: Racing cancelled.
Series 2: Racing postponed to another day.
Series 3: Racing postponed to another day.
Notice to Series 3 Competitors:
Race 4 postponed will be sailed at 1300hrs on Thursday 19th August, with Race 6 scheduled for
1330hrs, to follow on immediately afterwards.
Race 5 will be sailed at 1330hrs on Friday 20th August, with Race 8 scheduled for 1400hrs, to be sailed immediately afterwards.
