Welcome to the Hayling Island SC (HISC) On-line Shop. In this section you will see a selection of HISC branded merchandise available to buy. Please read these terms and conditions prior to ordering goods.

You can order and pay for your items on-line and arrange to collect from HISC or to have the items delivered at the cost indicated.

Security

Our payment gateway is provided by ePDQ, they provide secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for online and mail order businesses across the UK. eDPQ solely handles your card details on their secure server where they present a payment page, run extensive security checks and obtain card authorisation using Verified by Visa and MasterCard Securecode. Transactions, confirmations and return status results are submitted in real-time. The only information that HISC holds on you is information for the purposes of ordering.

Privacy

HISC holds information on its customers collected at the time of ordering for fulfilling the orders made. You should note that HISC will not sell its database of emails to a third party and all data is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Prices

All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the current rate (except childrens clothing which is zero rated). We will try to maintain the price as advertised but we reserve the right to change before you place an order. At present no delivery can be made outside of the UK. Where posted delivery is the method of delivery the cost is shown in the shopping cart.

Product Description

HISC attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, HISC does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. If a product offered by HISC is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

Under 18

HISC does not distance sell products for purchase by children. We sell under 18’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use HISC on-line shop only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Delivery

HISC will process your order as soon as possible, generally we process orders placed on Monday to Friday by the next working day after it was placed. Average delivery times for 'in stock' items are 3-4 working days from receipt of order. The time for completion of orders is given in good faith, but is not guaranteed. HISC shall not be responsible for any delay unless it arises from our wilful acts or negligence.

Returns

If after checking out your item(s) you find they don't fit or you're just not sure they're right for you, send the item(s) back to us, in the same condition as received (i.e. tags intact, unworn/unused) to - HISC Chandlery, HISC, Sandy Point, Hayling Island, Hants PO11 9SL. We recommend you use either a registered or recorded delivery service. The cost of returning items to us is your responsibility, unless the goods are faulty or have been sent incorrectly.

Stock

All of our products are offered subject to availability. If for any reason we cannot supply you with any part of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone to advise you. We may need to cancel or refund the item from your order, if funds have been debited, they will be refunded back to the source of payment.

Cancellation Period

Customers have the right to cancel any order for stock items up to 7 days after the day the goods were delivered, the customer is responsible for returning the goods to HISC before repayment can be made, HISC will refund the cost of the goods (not any postage) within 30 days of cancellation, providing the goods have been returned unused, undamaged and fit for re-sale. HISC Sailing reserve the right to charge a handling charge.
