HISC Membership Policy

Club Park ViewHayling Island SC is open for membership and we welcome applications from active sailors and anyone who is interested in becoming actively involved in sailing and boating.

HISC offers among the finest sailing, shore and social facilities anywhere, and supports a wide range of sailing-related activities, including dinghy racing and cruising, sailing training, youth sailing, windsurfing and social sailing.

All based in a modern clubhouse overlooking Chichester harbour, with changing rooms, spacious bar and restaurant, quick snack bar, meeting and training rooms, extensive viewing balconies and on-site accommodation.

We welcome all dinghy and keelboats up to 7.5 metres, but due to space restrictions we are currently operating a waiting list for spaces in our dinghy park. The Club office will be able to give you information about the waiting list for the class of boat you want to bring.  A list of boat parking and registration fees is available here.

The day-to-day management of the Club is in the hands of our full-time staff, but members play a major role in helping run events and many activities, and everyone between the ages of 17 and 69 contributes at least a couple of days a year to helping run the Club's sailing activities.
