Sailing
Instructions for Mini-Olympics.
Start
The
scheduled time of the first start will be 1400 hrs.
Races
will be started using rule 26 with the warning signal given 3 minutes before
the starting signal.
The
starting line will be between the staff of the Committee Boat displaying
an orange flag and the staff of the dan buoy displaying an orange flag.
Finish.
The
finish will be between the mast of the Committee Boat displaying an orange
flag and the staff of the dan buoy displaying an orange flag (as start).
The
finish line need not be passed through except to finish.

Courses
may be combined or given multiple laps by a number on the course board
on the Committee boat preceding each element.
Scoring
The
low point scoring system of Appendix A will apply.
When
fewer than 3 races are completed, a boats score will be the total of her
race scores. When 4 or 5 races are sailed a boats score will be the total
of her race scores excluding her worst score.
Series Score.
Five
events are scheduled. One event discard is allowed. Place positions in
each event will count to the overall mini-Olympic result.
