HISC Class Web pages . . .

With the sailing and racing at HISC now in full swing it is disappointing to see the various Class web pages so poorly maintained..

Several have not been updated for years. Classes at HISC tend to grow, flourish and die quicker than weeds. The problem is that in the first flush of growth stage an enthusiast will establish a class page, when that person moves on the next person is either not informed about the page or does not have the same interest in it, and it becomes a dusty vault of old information.

We thus have class pages, both on and off the HISC website that are unmaintained, in some cases the class is not in existance as a class at HISC.

Any class captain or appointed person who wants information on maintaining the class web page should contact me and I can establish a simple blog style content management format. This does not require any coding ability and allows you to add, edit and delete web page content instantly through your browser.
