New Archive Cabinets . . .

Our Archive ladies, Belinda Cook and Leonie Austin, were joined by Commodore Mark Woods and Rear Commodore House Anthony Penfold and supporters, to celebrate the completion of the project to purchase two new display cabinets so that members can see some of the facinating HISC Archive material.

Well done to them and all their supporters in raising enough money to purchase the two new display Cabinets now installed in the Dining Room.

Belinda and Leonie plan to change the displays so that they are relevant to events being held at HISC. A special display is planned for the Laser Worlds in August then later in the year there will be information about Copps and the incentive to raise money for a Copps memorial on Hayling Seafront.

Next year we have the Flying Fifteen Worlds and our Archivists are all ready collecting material on the early days of the F/Fs at HISC. If you have any interesting Archive material Belinda and Leonie would be delighted to hear from you. - AP
