Exciting news for HISC RS200 sailors!
LDC have come up with a ‘club racing loyalty discount’ exclusively for HISC RS200 sailors. This discount will be cumulative, depending on how many races you participate in, but 12.5% discount is available on sails, covers, fittings, rope and clothing for those who regularly take part in club racing at HISC. The discount will be vaid until 31st December 2010.
The discount will work over the Spring and Summer Saturday and Sunday series, as well as the Wednesday early series (5 series in total). Participating in 4 races in a series will qualify you for discount for that series.
The cumulative discount will work as follows:
Discount for 4 races in 1 series = 5%
Discount for 4 races in 2 series = 10%
Discount for 4 races in 3 series = 12.5%
This is a fantastic oppertunity to use your RS200 regularly this year and think about upgrading bits and pieces for next year with a nice little discount! RS200 Racing at HISC
HISC has an active fleet of RS200s and 2010 will see some new faces joining our fleet. The RS200 fleet is very diverse and includes families, couples, younger members, ladies venturing back out onto the water and those who just want to go and have a bit of fun.
We compete in the HISC handicap fleets and in 2010 these results will be used to run an RS200 series alongside the HISC series.
As it is not always possible to race every weekend, the club pennant weekends in 2010 will also be RS200 focus events where will hope to have as many RS200s on the water (and in the bar after) as possible.
Sailing will of course continue with all the planned club events, however, the focus events are where we hope to have the largest numbers of 200s racing.
There are a several class specific events planned for the year. More information will be sent out closer to the date by e-mail.
