The Glyn Charles Open Pursuit Race was won by Paddy Lewis and Peter Greig from Datchet Water SC sailing an Osprey . . . Second went to Colin Smith and Graham Williamson of HISC in a Merlin Rocket . . . And third to Steve Cockerill of HISC in a Streaker . . .

Event Programme

Racing will take place in Chichester Harbour.

Saturday 11 May 2013 - Registration at HISC Race office from 09:00 hrs.

Saturday 11 May 2013 - First start 12:00 hrs

Entry

Entry is open to all monohull dinghies with a PY of 1459 and below

Locally adjusted PY numbers will be used to determine the pursuit race start times

Also the Keelboat classes: Artemis 20, Flying 15, RS K6, RS Elite, X boat, Swallow, Sunbeam, Hawk, Star, Yngling

Other classes may be accepted at the discretion of the organizing authority

Eligible boats may enter at the Hayling Island SC office on the day of the event.

Entry fees are as follows:

Single-handed boat: £10.00 (under 18 £5.00)

Two-handed boat: £12.00 (under 18 £6.00)

Three-handed boat: £15.00

Reception is open daily: 09:00 - 17:00 - Tel: +44 (0)23 9246 3768

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Accommodation is available at HISC.

Harbour Chandlers are on site, they can be contacted on 023 9246 5385 or 01243 375500.

Boat Parking

Trailer storage will be in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail number.


Mobile homes/Camper vans

No mobile homes/camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing rate to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.

Please help by abiding with this rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of its neighbours.
