2017 Laser Masters National Championship

Competitors shall be full members of the International Laser Class association

Entry is open to all International Laser class boats

Competitors shall reach the age of 33 during 2017.

Entry fee per boat: £70.00 (£85.00 for entries received after 23 June).

In order to qualify for age category prizes they shall reach the following ages in 2017:

(a) 35 to compete in the Apprentice Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
(b) 45 to compete in the Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
(c) 55 to compete in the Grand Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
(d) 65 to compete in the Great Grand Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
(e) 75 to compete in the Legend category (Standard or Laser Radial)Entry fees are as follows:

Event Programme

Registration: Thurs 29 June: 18.00 - 20.00 and Fri 30 June : 09:00 - 11:00 hrs.

There will be a briefing for competitors at 11:00 on Friday 30 June.

Time of 1st warning signal & scheduled races per day:

Fri 30 June 13:00 3 races
Sat 1 July 12:30 3 races
Sun 2 July 11:00 2 races

HISC General Information

Reception is open daily: 09:00 - 17:00 - Tel: +44 (0)23 9246 3768

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Accommodation is available at HISC.

Harbour Chandlers are on site, they can be contacted on 07855 440 605.

Boat Parking

Boats must be stored on their Trolley or Trolley/Trailer combinations. Separate road trailers or stacking trailers must be stored in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with the owners name and sail number.

Mobile homes/Camper vans

No mobile homes/camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing fee to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.

Please help by abiding with this rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of its neighbours.
