National 18 Classes National Championships

Hayling Island SC - 21 to 26 July 2013

  The championship is open to both National 18 and Chichester Harbour 18 classes.

  Competing National 18 helms shall be members of the National 18 Class Association.

Entry

Eligible boats may enter by completing the online form on the HISC website and submitting the entry fee. Alternatively, an off-line paper entry form may be printed and mailed with payment to the address given. Entry will close on 18 July 2013.

Entry fee per boat is £155.00  (approx. Eur 195)

The fee will include: Entry to all races of the Championship.

Racing will take place in Hayling Bay or Chichester Harbour - Tidal Sets available here.

Saturday 20 July 2013 - Registration from 17:00 to 19:00 hours.

Sunday 21 July 2013 - Registration from 10:00 to 12:00 hours. Briefing for all competitors at 11:30 hrs.

Sunday 21 July 2013 - Practice race. First warning signal 13:55 hrs

Monday 22 July 2013 - 2 races. First warning signal 11:55 hrs

Tuesday 23 July 2013 - 2 races. First warning signal 11:55 hrs

Wednesday 24 July 2013 - 2 races. First warning signal 11:55 hrs

Thursday 25 July 2013 - 2 races. First warning signal 11:55 hrs

Friday 26 July 2013 - 2 races. First warning signal 10:55 hrs

Reception is open daily: 09:00 - 17:00 - Tel: +44 (0)23 9246 3768

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Accommodation is available at HISC.

Boat Parking

Trailer storage will be in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail number.

Mobile homes/Camper vans

No mobile homes/camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing fee to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.
