Optimist MF Open Meeting at HISC - 20 and 21 May 2017

The HISC Optimist Open went right to the final race and was still tied before victory went to James Foster of Poole YC on countback.

Entry

Entry is open to all International Optimist class dinghies

On-line Entry is now closed

Entry fee is £30

The closing date for On-line entriy is 23:00 hrs Thursday 18 May.or earlier if the entry limit is reached - Maximum 80 entries.

Entries received after 18 May will be subject to a surcharge.

Boats may register from 09:00 hrs at HISC on Saturday 20 May.

RIBS

Support boats shall register at the race office during the registration period. The HISC Marine team will manage the launch of all registered RIBs.

Reception is open daily: 09:00 - 17:00 - Tel: +44 (0)23 9246 3768

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Accommodation is available at HISC.

Boat Parking

Boats must be stored on their Trolley or Trolley/Trailer combinations. Separate road trailers or stacking trailers must be stored in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with the owners name and sail number.


Mobile homes/Camper vans

No mobile homes/camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing fee to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.

Please help by abiding with this rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of its neighbours.
