Final day of the National Championships . . .

In the big rig Aero 9 fleet Peter Barton from Lymington Town  finished with a double-first to take the title.

Leader of the Aero 7 fleet, Sam Whaley of Swanage SC also added back to back wins and the title.

And in the Aero 5 fleet Liina Kolk of Pirita Svertpaadiklubi, Estonia, also hit the front to take the title.

Second day (2 Sep) of the National Championships . . .

New leader of the big rig Aero 9 fleet is Peter Barton from Lymington Town with a 1,2,1,3 score.

Leader of the Aero 7 fleet is now Sam Whaley of Swanage SC with a stunning 1,1,1,1 score.

And leader of the Aero 5 fleet is now Andrew Frost of Sutton Bingham SC, with a 2,4,5,1 score today.

All three rigs fleets raced Friday (1 Sep), the first day of the National Championships proper.

First day leader of the big rig Aero 9 fleet was Chris Larr from Northampton SC with a 2, 1, 2 score.

Leader of the Aero 7 fleet is Ben Whaley of Swanage SC with a 1, 1 score.

And leader of the Aero 5 fleet is Liina Kolk of Pirita Svertpaadiklubi, Estonia, with a 4, 1.

Winner of the opening event, the RS Aero Challenge Cup title for the three versions racing together on PY handicap was Steve Cockerill of Stokes Bay SC.

Overall event entry £110.00 - After 27 August event entry £125.00

Daily Rate entry £37.00 - After 27 August daily rate is £42.0

The entry fees include coaching on 31 August, opening ceremony and Saturday disco

Registration is at HISC: Thursday 31 August from 09:00 hrs & Friday 1 Sept from 08:30 hrs

How to get to Hayling Island SC

Reception is open daily: 09:00 - 17:00 - Tel: +44 (0)23 9246 3768

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Harbour Chandlers are on site, they can be contacted on 07855 440 605.

Boat Parking

Boats must be stored on their Trolley or Trolley/Trailer combinations. Separate road trailers or stacking trailers must be stored in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with the owners name and sail number.

Mobile homes/Camper vans

No mobile homes/camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing fee to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.
