National Championship & Nations Cup
13 to 19 July 2013 at Hayling Island SC
The Solo Championship is open to all
National Solo class dinghies.
Competing helms shall be members of the Class
Association.

With just a week to go to the entry deadline (31 May)
the championship entry stands at 63. The updated Entry List
together with the Entry Form and the latest version of the NOR are
now available, see below.
You are reminded that there will be a Solo Open Meeting
for the Tyler Trophy at HISC over the weekend of the 1 and 2
June. A good opportunity to sample the club facilities and
the waters of Hayling Bay, venue for Nationals. For details see the

Remember that the video of the North training weekend at HISC is
available from the HISC members area.

Entry
Eligible boats may enter by
completing the entry form and sending it together with the required
fee to The Treasurer, NSCA, by Friday 31 May 2013.
Entry fee per boat is £150.00

Entry to all races of the
Championship.
One ticket to the event reception.
One BBQ ticket.
Free car parking on site during the
event.
On the entry form you will see that
running concurrently with the main competition there will be a
Plate Series:
This is open to any competitor who, in the preceding seven years,
has not come in the top 20 in a National, Inland or Winter
Championship in any class. In addition, any competitor achieving a
top 20 overall result in this Championship will be excluded from
the Plate Series final results. The first race sailed each day will
count towards the Plate Series.

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and
17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.
The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30
- 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.
Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar
from: 09:00hrs
Accommodation is available at HISC.

Boat Parking
Trailer storage will be in a
designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please
ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail
number.
Mobile homes/Camper vans
No camper vans may remain within the
precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car
park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00hrs
unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing rate to the
club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the
camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the
HISC Office.

rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of
its neighbours.
