Round Hayling Island Course

Starting from HISC competitors  will be required to sail through four gates on the course. One will be positioned in the area of Northney Marina (gate 1),  at the top of Chichester Harbour, one near the Ferryboat Inn (gate 2) on the west side of Hayling Island. One directly to the south of the Inn on the Beach on Hayling seafront (gate 3) and one to the south of the HM Coastguard look out on the seafront (gate 4). Eligible windsurfers must enter online - see below.

Racing will take place in Chichester Harbour, Langstone Harbour and Hayling Bay, Tidal Sets available here.

Friday 29 March 2013 - Registration at HISC Race office from 09:00 hours.

Friday 29 March 2013 - Competitors Briefing at 11:00 hours

Friday 29 March 2013 - First race 12:00 hours

Entry

On Line Entry for the Round Hayling Island Race opens Monday 4 March and will close Wednesday 27 March 2013.

Complete event entry fee is £25 per entry/per person, including Curry - On-line entry closed.

Supporting Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research

This year we will be running a Raffle in support of Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research, a charity formed by windsurfers to raise cancer awareness and so promote early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles, to reduce the incidence of the disease. And through specific projects raise funds for cancer research, education and support. For more information Click here

The Bar is open: 11:00 - 24:00 Saturday/Sunday. 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 23:00 Monday to Friday.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:00, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00.

Packed Lunches will be available to purchase from the Snack Bar from: 09:00hrs

Accommodation is available at HISC . . .

How to get to Hayling Island SC . . .

Mobile homes/camper vans

No camper vans may remain within the precincts of the club, which includes the car park, overflow car park and the causeway, between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00 hrs unless they have pre-booked and paid the prevailing rate to the club office. The number of available spaces is restricted and the camper van must be parked in the allocated area as directed by the HISC Office.

Please help by abiding with this rule so that HISC complies with the law and retains the goodwill of its neighbours.

Trailer Parking

Trailer storage will be in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail number.
