RS Tera Sport / Optimist Gold and Silver Fleets

There will be two separate fleets: ‘gold’ and ‘silver’:

• Gold Fleet is aimed at the more experienced racer, who has been racing for approx. 2 years or more.
• Silver Fleet is aimed a newer racers with less experience.

The intention is that they will race the same course as the Gold Fleet, with a separate start. If the weather conditions are inclement it does provide the race officers with the flexibility for them to race less laps or postpone for safety reasons.

There will be separate results for the two fleets and separate prizes awarded.

On your entry form you will be asked to select the Tera Sport fleet that you wish your child to compete in, but we do reserve the right to ‘balance the numbers’ if required, with your knowledge.

Red Ribbon

Competitors must have a minimum of RYA Level 2 and have some racing experience. This fleet is considered “entry level racing” but is not a course or a learn to sail week. Red Ribbon is a parent run event, parent of entrants must be available to help for a minimum of 3 of the 5 race days, preferably on the water but beach as a minimum.
