Tide Ride Open Meeting

In 2024 we are delighted to announce the Tide Ride is Back!
The original Tide Ride was an event held for a number of years in the early 2000s. It was a massive festival event sponsored by Red Bull and then by Holt.
Racing is held at high water. Races are short, fast and testing, with an upwind leg followed by a downwind leg through slalom gates which bring the boats together. This makes for exciting racing for competitors and spectators.
The Saturday races are heats, with only the survivors going through to Sundays racing.
Only a small number of fleets can be invited due to the nature of the event. We envisage 3 asymmetric classes on Course 1 and foilers on Course 2.
This a spectator event as much as a racing one, with viewing and commentary from the Club House and on the water Spectator boats.
Saturday night is Party Night! With a full on HISC style party where all competitors and HISC members are welcome.
