Winner of the 2011 Round Hayling Windsurf Race was Robert Kent from Calshot Activity Centre. In second place was Paul Leone from Queen Mary SC and third, Mark Kay of the West Pennine Sailboard Club.

32 of the 79 Gold Fleet entries completed the full course Round Hayling Island. - GN

The On-Line Entry for the Windsurf Round Hayling Island and Stand Up Paddleboard Challenge is now closed.

The HISC Round the Island Race will take place on Friday 22 April. The racing is open to all windsurfer/paddleboards with an entry limit of 160 competitors in total (windsurf and stand up paddleboard).

The Windsurfer race is split into three stages, and competitors may choose to race the complete circumnavigation (Gold course) or only to the first gate at Northney marina (Bronze course) or the second gate at the Ferryboat Inn in the entrance to Langstone Harbour (Silver course).

Prizes will be awarded for each of the courses and competitors should balance their ability with the wind and sea conditions on the day in deciding which course to sail.
