Cruising at HISC
Hayling Island Sailing club, although best known for its dinghy racing activities, does promote cruising in both dinghies and yachts.
Situated near the entrance of Chichester harbour makes a great setting off point for cruising both near and far. Our organised activities fall into the following broad categories:
Harbour Cruising
There are worse ways to Explore our beautiful Chichester Harbour than under sail.
Social Sailing
The Social Sailing Cruising Fleet welcomes those lucky HISC members who are able to sail mid-week when the waters and harbours are not so congested or busy.
Solent Sailors
Solent Sailors are the part of the Social Sailing Fleet which arranges mid week rallies in the Solent and occasionally further afield.
