HM Queen Elizabeth II

As we all continue to come to terms of the loss of HM Queen Elizabeth II, we wanted to share our arrangements for the coming days and the day of the funeral.

HISC remains in mourning but will be open this coming weekend. All scheduled on the water activities and services at HISC will proceed however, there may be changes to social events. All those participating in club racing and training this weekend are invited to display a black streamer on their boats, a limited supply of these are available from the Office. 

The ILCA qualifier at HISC this weekend will proceed however, there will be no prizegiving and competitors are also invited to display black streamers from their masts.
 
HISC will be closed & no staff will be on site on Monday September 19 allowing us all to honour and pay tribute to the late Queen during her funeral. The downstairs of the Stocker accommodation block will be open to allow those on site to use wash and restroom facilities if required.
