RYA Powerboat Level 2
To teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. This course may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both plaining and displacement, and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place.
RYA Safety Boat (16+ yrs) - 2 Days
To introduce the techniques used in powerboats escorting racing fleets of dinghies and windsurfers, providing safety and rescue cover for training fleets, and assisting in race management
RYA Powerboat Level 2 Direct Assessment
Candidates will be put through a written examination based on basic navigation IRPCS, tide, weather and boat knowledge to the level of Powerboat 2.
HISC Safety Boat Course
To introduce the skills and techniques used in powerboats escorting racing fleets of dinghies, providing safety and rescue cover. This is a local aware designed for users of HISC.
