Reusable Coffee Cups

 

To improve our sustainability and as part of our initiative to reduce waste, from Saturday 6th May 2023 HISC will be introducing a disposable coffee cup charge.

Any drink served in a disposable paper cup will be charged an extra 30p on top of their drink. Mugs and re-usable travel cups will not be subject to this charge. 

Forgotten your cup? No worries! HISC has reusable cups available to buy for £8 and water bottles will be available very soon for £4.

These cups and bottles are made from a proportion of using a proportion of sugar-cane fibres that are better for the environment. This renewable source absorbs carbon dioxide whilst growing and is a by-product of the sugar industry. The use of sugar cane means less oil is used in the manufacture of each cup or bottle.
