Get Racing Club

The Get Racing Club provides a new entry point into Club Racing for our Members.

Participants will launch with other racers on designated Saturdays but enjoy a separate start away from the more serious sailors.

On the water, the start will be 5 minutes after the main Saturday Handicap fleet. Competitors will sail the same course but a shorter version. The aim also is to come ashore with the rest of the club racers.

This is not a coached event and therefore there is no specific planned briefing. It is an opportunity to get out on the water with the rest of the club in a more relaxed environment and ease yourself into club racing.

Participants will sign on and sign off either by smart phone or tablet to the Saturday Handicap but will be provided with race bibs so the race team know you are part of the ‘Get Racing Club’.
