Youth Training Week is aimed at students from complete beginner to Stage 4 and Sailing with Spinnakers. In 2024 we with have 6 different groups:
Opi Beginners (RYA Stage 1) (Minimum 5 student, Max 6)
This group is for people that have never sailed before or would like to gain more confidence at the very basics (sailing across the wind!). It will have extra support with more instructors to focus on improving confidence on the boat single handed. This group will work towards gaining the RYA Stage 1 award.
With your own boat: £290
With a HISC Hire boat:£335
The price is inclusive of 1 Space, Logbooks and Certificates.
Tera Beginners (RYA Stage 1) (Minimum 5 student, Max 6)
This group is for people that have never sailed before or would like to gain more confidence at the very basics (sailing across the wind!). This group is for people that are confident in a boat and can sail across the wind. With support from our qualified instructors the focus will be on sailing upwind/downwind/tacking and gybing. This group will work towards gaining the RYA Stage 2 or 3 award depending on ability.
With your own boat: £290
With a HISC Hire boat:£335
The price is inclusive of 1 Space and Certificates.
Tera Improvers (RYA Stage 2-3) (Minimum 5 student, Max 6)
This group is for people that are confident in a boat and can sail across the wind. With support from our qualified instructors the focus will be on sailing upwind/downwind/tacking and gybing. This group will work towards gaining the RYA Stage 2 or 3 award depending on ability.

Feva Into (RYA Stage 4) (Minimum 3 boats , Max 4)
This group is for people that are confident in a boat and have sailed upwind/downwind/tacking and gybing. With support from our qualified instructors the focus will be learning to sail the RS Feva and communicate well within their boat. This group will work towards gaining the RYA Stage 4.
With your own boat:£390 Per Boat
With a HISC Hire boat:£490 per boat
The price is inclusive of 2 spaces (1 boat, helm and crew) and Certificates.
Feva Improvers (RYA Sailing with Spinnakers) (Minimum 3 boats , Max 4)
This group is for people that are established pairs in an RS Feva and can sail upwind/downwind/tacking and gybing. With support from our qualified instructors the focus will be learning to sail the RS Feva utilising all the sails including the spinnaker. This group will work towards gaining the RYA Sailing with Spinnakers.

With a HISC Hire boat:£490 per boat
