Ingaela also finished 1st girl under 9 in the country and 3rd girl overall at the UKWA 2025 Windsurfing National Championships.

Ingaela’s cousin, Emma sailing her hot pink Optimist Magical Mermaid, also raced in the Coached Regatta Fleet at the 2025 Optimist National Championships, at only 6 years old she was the youngest competitor, finishing 1st girl 6 and under and 17th girl overall.

At only 3 years old, Emma’s sister, Molly has really taken to helming in the Optimist. Molly has her own cut down rig fashioned out of her great grandfather’s sail! She has kindly asked to now sail on her own.
