There are many active classes at the club, including four Youth classes, which provide whatever style of sailing a member may wish to choose from una rig single hander to twin trapeze asymmetric to keel boat.

Fireball has a long association with HISC

Flying 15

Flying Fifteens have been at Hayling since the very early days.


At HISC, the Europe's race in the Slow Handicap fleet, including Pennant weekend racing in the bay and sprint racing within the harbour. 

Int Moth

There are approximately 20 Moths registered at HISC

ILCA / Laser

HISC has a varying number of ILCA / Laser sailors depending on the mix of Youth sailors coming through

Merlin Rocket

The Merlin Rocket is ideally suited to racing in Chichester Harbour and Hayling Bay


HISC is home to the largest fleet of RS200s on the globe


As HISC has the largest RS700 fleet in the country


Hayling Island Sailing Club is the spiritual home of the RS800

RS Aero

The RS Aero re-sets the standard for pure exhilaration in a simple singlehander

RS Elite

The HISC RS Elite fleet has grown into one of the most competitive keelboat fleets in the country


The Solo is the most active fleet in the club with average turnouts in double figures


The Tasar is a 4.5m high performance sailing dinghy

Thursday Club Kit for Sale

The Thursday Club have some kit for sale, all in good or excellent condition (boots in sizes 6, 6 1/2 and a few 7s, mainly adults clothing (all sizes) and buoyancy aids kids & adults)

All money goes to the Thursday Club - No sensible offer refused.
