How to book your course

  • Identify the course you are interested in and the selected date.

  • Either call the office on 023 92 463768 between 09:00-17:00 or email training or via your EliteLive Account and then select the course and date you wish to book.

  • Upon booking, you will be sent an email, please make sure that you read this as it contains important information about the conditions of booking and on what you are required to bring with you.

  • Once successfully booked, take note of your start time and meet your instructor in the Reception Area of the Main Club House where you will be required to register.

  • If your course requires a boat which you don’t own, make sure you have hired one from the Club and that you have booked the correct boat, on the correct date. You can hire boats by either calling the office or via the website, following the same instructions as booking a course and clicking on BOAT HIRE instead of Training.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • To be accepted on the course you need to have booked your place & paid in full prior to the course commencing.

  • CANCELLATION BY YOU. We will refund you in full if you cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your booking. Cancellation within 48 hours is non refundable except for in the below situations. In exceptional circumstances some cancellations within 48 hours will be offered a 50% refund onto their membership club card. If a ticketed space can be resold then we will refund you in full.

    CANCELLATION BY HISC. Although we make every practicable endeavour to run the course as advertised, the club reserves the right to cancel the course at short notice due to reasons beyond our control. In this situation everyone on the course will be offered an alternative date or a full refund will be given. This shall be the limit of the club’s liability in this respect.

  • HISC and their RYA Instructors, Senior Instructors and Coaches do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, suffered by persons and/or property arising out of, or during the course of their activities whilst training, coaching and/or instruction unless such loss/damage/injury was caused by, or resulted from negligence or deliberate act.

  • In accordance with club bye-law 4.9, please make sure the boat you are using for any training is insured against third party risks to a minimum of two million pounds.
